1 Do your students practice on the public? What is the pricing for services?

Yes, students do practice on the public*, under the supervision of licensed instructors. Learn more about our student salon and spa services

2 What courses do you offer?

At Raphael鈥檚 Northeast Ohio campuses, you can train in Cosmetology, Skin Care & Esthetics, and Nail Technology. We also have a Barbering program in Niles, Ohio, and a Massage Therapy school in Boardman, Ohio.

3 Do I need a high school diploma?

A high school diploma or GED is required to enroll in all courses of study.

4 Can I get financial aid?

Financial Aid is available, for those who qualify, for the Cosmetology, Esthetician, Barber, and Massage Therapy courses. School Owner Ralph Delserone and his staff can walk you through the steps for applying for financial aid. The types of financial aid offered to those who qualify are Federal Pell Grants and Direct Student Loans. The amount of financial aid awarded to each student is dependent on the student鈥檚 eligibility and the course the student is enrolled in.

5 What schedules do you offer?

Raphael鈥檚 91影视, Inc. has Northeast Ohio covered with flexible schedules offered at multiple locations.

The schedule for the Barber course is full-time at 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday

Massage Therapy course is part-time at 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

Beauty School course schedules include 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday*.

The Niles campus also offers evening classes at 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.

Hands-on learning and working with real guests* is an essential part of beauty school training. Students in any of our programs must be able to commit to attending in-person classes. Talk to an admissions representative to figure out the schedule that’s best for you.

*All schedules for the Beauty School require 16 Saturday hours of attendance each month.

Raphael鈥檚 provides a wonderful basis for nail techs. Thanks to their thorough training and curriculum; I was able to pass my state board exams as a Managing Manicurist with all scores in the excellent range. This foundation along with expanded independent study has enabled me to move forward in the beauty industry. To date I have been in national publication six times including four times in Nails Magazine. In addition to achieving my Instructors License; I also am selling artificial nails around the world. Currently; my mother and I are in the process of opening what will be my own salon when I turn 21. The business instruction that I received at Raphael鈥檚 will be an invaluable tool as I expand into this new venture.
